Valerie Ross
Co-Founder/Executive Director
Valerie is the co-Founder and executive director of the You Are Beautiful Project. With a passion for giving back and with a heart for our youth who are struggling with their confidence and worth, the YABP was brought to life. Valerie is a CRNA and also owns her own piece of a large skin care company with a fast growing team of entrepreneurs that she leads and collaborates with.
Valerie has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing- University of Delaware, and a Masters Degree in Nursing Anesthesia- Villanova University
Katie Everett
Co-Founder/President
Katie is the Co-Founder and President of the You Are Beautiful Project. She is passionate about empowering the next generation to find their purpose, and committed to increasing opportunities and access for those struggling to overcome poverty and homelessness. She brings over 13 years of expertise in experiential marketing, large-scale event production and impact driven solutions across a variety of industries She is the Founder and CEO of My City Gives – a cause-focused event production and communications agency based in Philadelphia. Her client list includes Live Nation, House of Blues Music Forward Foundation, Robert Irvine Foundation, Award, Philadelphia Music Alliance, Philabundance, Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Katie has her Bachelors degree in Corporate Communications-University of Baltimore.
Jamie Petersen
Executive Board Member
Jamie Petersen is passionate about giving back. After a 13-year career in the stock market, she turned to an entrepreneurial opportunity with an international billion dollar skin care brand. Over the last 8 years and as a top leader for Rodan + Fields, she has built a business focused on empowering women and giving back, through time, finances and to each other. The You Are Beautiful Project couldn't be a more perfect fit in what Jamie believes to her core, empowering women to believe in themselves and make a difference.

Jen Griswold
Executive Board Member
Jen Griswold is both an accomplished entrepreneur as well an Air Force military officer with a big heart for serving. She is committed to educating military spouses, sharing resources, and inspiring them to start businesses of their own. Jen co-founded Team G.i.V.e, who produces over $20M in skincare sales annually. Jen is excited to work with YABP because it means she can serve in another capacity and give back to groups she’s passionate.
Jen earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Factors Engineering- United States Air Force Academy and a Master’s of Education degree in Human Resource Development-Colorado State University
Audrey McKinley
Executive Board Member/Cultural Diversity Advisor
Audrey McKinley is the President of Auto Network Consulting Inc. and a bilingual, passionate, dynamic, and "trusted advisor", coach, and consultant to many within the automotive industry. As an expert in the industry she has redefined the standards for the Automotive by instilling the best people, processes and products within multiple dealerships nationwide. With a passion for business and desire to serving others Audrey serves on the board with the You Are Beautiful project to help change lives, and make a difference within our communities.
Audrey has a Bachelors in Social Science - UC Irvine

Katherine Ross
Executive Board Member/ Secretary
Katherine is the Director of Sales and Marketing at TheDaily Pennsylvanian, a non-profit student media company, in Philadelphia, PA since 1995. Katherine’s entire career has been about giving back & helping others meet their goals. With over 20 years of non- profit experience, Katherine is proud to be on the inaugural board of the You Are Beautiful Project. Katherine has a degree from Cabrini University.
Christina Russell
Executive Board Member/Treasurer
Christina Russell is a nurse manager at a pediatric hospital, and practices as a certified Healing TouchPractitioner and certified Yoga Instructor. Her passion is being an example for others to go after their dreams. This is why the You Are Beautiful Project is so meaningful to her; it shows the youth they too can accomplish anything! Christina has her Bachelors of Science in Nursing-Wilmington University and is Pursuing her MBA/MSN. Board Member/ Treasurer
